Anotha one (DJ Kaled)
I checked off item #5 on my bucket list yesterday. Bootleggers Bar (which used to be called "Tommy's") is located in Pooler and I, being the absolute angel that I am, had never stepped foot in it before yesterday. Brandon, the male model in this shoot, let me know that he used to bartend there and that is how he met his now fiancé. He also told me that the old owner died from a heart attack in the men's bathroom and apparently you can still hear/sense him sometimes. I did not venture to find out. Also, men's bathrooms have to be the most disgusting places on the planet. So no go on that.
We DID, however, take some beautiful, moving, and romantic photos, as you'll soon see.
I'm not sure if you know this, but every photographer has post-photoshoot regrets, such as "damn, why didn't I take a photo of _____", and "I sure hope I got enough good ones" (even though we always take far too many). I had this yesterday, but when I finished editing this morning (at 7:30AM because I'm a psychopath who can't sleep if there are photos to edit), I was pleasantly pleased with what I had captured. We took a shoddy bar in the middle of nowhere and turned it into a magical setting where two people fell in love approximately 6 years ago.
